Edge confused this match for a TLC match as he grabbed tables, ladders, and chairs from underneath the ring during this match. However, the cell was not strong enough to contain the hatred between these men as one of the panels of the cage broke which allowed this battle to escape the cage. Outside of the structure, Edge delivered a spectacular looking spear that saw all three announce tables being used in the move. Once back inside of the ring, Edge’s attempt to go old school back-fired. Undertaker threw Edge through two tables set up outside of the ring, dragged him back in the ring, hit him with a television camera, a conchairto, and then hit the tombstone to get the win. After the match, the Undertaker left the ring and then returned to deliver further punishment. He carried Edge up a ladder, then went to an adjacent ladder and promised to send Edge to hell. He gave him a choke slam from the ladder that sent Edge through the ring. A few moments later, Undertaker used his magical powers and the hole that Edge went through went up in flames

The match wasn't as crisp as it could have been. However, you can't really blame either guy because they've never worked a match against one another. It could be a great match once they develop some chemistry with one another.

Putting the belt on Kofi Kingston was brilliant. Chris Jericho never should have won the belt in the first place. Management only gave it to him because they were too lazy to find someone to wear the belt after Jeff Hardy was suspended. Plus, Kofi Kingston picks up a ton of momentum with the surprising title win.

The good thing about this match was the heel turn by Cody Rhodes. First of all, he had grown absolutely stale as a generic babyface. It became a pain whenever we'd see him each week on Monday Night Raw. Another side benefit of the heel turn is that Hardcore Holly is no longer holding a championship belt.
The bad thing about this match was that WWE made it a bit too obvious that Cody Rhodes was turning. The writing basically took away all of the surprise, especially when Ted DiBiase was asking for more time to unveil his partner.
