Adam Copeland was born on October 30, 1973 in Ontario, Canada. He made his pro debut in 1993. While on the indy scene wrestling as Sexton Hardcastle, he teamed with Cristan Cage. Edge debuted in the WWE in 1998 as a loner that would enter the ring through the crowd.
In the original draft, Edge was taken number 6 by SmackDown.In March 2004, Edge was drafted by RAW. In June, he became World Tag Team Champ with the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit. At New Year’s Revolution 2006, he cashed in his title shot after John Cena survived an Elimination Chamber Match. He easily beat the worn out champ to win his first world title.
